Installation & pairing

1 · Set up the extension

Install the Warehouse extension in Business Central and run the setup assistant.

2 · Install the app

Download the app for your device and install it – detailed per-platform instructions to follow.

3 · Pair the device

In the app, open "Pair device" and scan the QR code from the Warehouse setup card in Business Central. The app configures itself automatically and connects to your tenant.

The QR code contains no credentials: it only carries connection parameters (tenant, environment, terminal, printer). Sign-in then happens interactively via your Microsoft Entra account.

Windows SmartScreen: on first launch of a newly published package, SmartScreen may show a prompt until download reputation has built up – choose "More info" → "Run anyway". The packages are signed with a certificate from ALTENBRAND Datentechnik GmbH.

Android

Android 7.0 or newer; native barcode scanners are recommended (Zebra, Honeywell, Datalogic, Newland). Devices without Google Play install the APK directly or via MDM (e.g. Intune, Zebra StageNow).

Windows

Windows 10 (version 1809) or newer, x64 or ARM64.
