Ingram
Micro
Connect one of the world's largest IT & technology distributors to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central via the Xvantage REST API – with catalog discovery, price and availability sync and order processing through the central hub.
From catalog to Business Central item
Manufacturer and category subscriptions search the Ingram catalog, enrich the results with price and availability and write them into the hub's central supplier data – the foundation for the price engine, stock calculation and marketplace listings.
Catalog discovery
Manufacturer and category subscriptions search the paginated Ingram catalog and return the matching Ingram part numbers – the basis for the price and availability lookup.
Price & availability
Batch lookup (up to 50 SKUs per call) of purchase price, RRP and stock level. Ingram's "vendor" is treated as the manufacturer, while Ingram Micro itself is the BC vendor.
Item creation via the hub
New products land in the hub's supplier data; through GTIN/MPN matching "Create Items from Supplier Data" turns them into Business Central items – known products are refreshed without a new catalog search.
Order processing
Orders are submitted from BC purchase orders via the Orders API; Ingram confirms asynchronously by webhook. A simulation mode prevents real submissions during testing.
Shipments & webhooks
Asynchronous order and availability events are received via webhook (HMAC-SHA256); open orders without a webhook callback are actively polled back through the API.
Dashboard & cues
A role center dashboard with KPI cues, connection and activity fact boxes plus a sync queue keep imports and orders in view.
Built on the Xvantage Reseller API
Catalog, price/availability and orders run live via REST API – securely connected through the shared hub infrastructure, with both a sandbox and a live environment.
OAuth2 & sandbox
Client credentials flow against the Xvantage Reseller API with a 24-hour token. Sandbox and live endpoints are switchable; every call carries the required IM headers (customer number, country code).
Secure credentials
Client ID and client secret are stored encrypted in the central credential store – no clear text in the database.
Auto-sync & hub integration
Automatic synchronization via the hub job queue (configurable interval). The connector registers declaratively with the hub; the setup wizard enforces hub setup via the platform guard.
